About us

We Don’t Wait for Permission—We Build What Our Communities Deserve.

When Rubain J. Dorancy launched TRIAD Consulting Strategies, he wasn’t following a trend—he was taking a stand. As a son of Brooklyn, a public school graduate, and a former DOE insider, Rubain saw the cracks in the system long before they were headlines. While others were stuck in meetings debating equity, he was already in schools doing the work.

He took the first risk when no one else would, building TRIAD to be the consulting firm that says what needs to be said and does what needs to be done.

TRIAD started with one goal: to make schools better, measurably better, for the students and families who rely on them most. What began as a single contract has grown into a movement.

Our Statistics

TRIAD started with one goal: to make schools better—measurably better—for the students and families who rely on them most. What began as a single contract has grown into a movement.

In 2023–2024 alone, we served over 60 schools across NYC, leading to a 4% average increase in attendance, a 100% community engagement rate, and MWBE partnerships that moved from paperwork to real purchase orders.

We’re not here for vanity metrics. We’re here to shift culture, open doors, and make change that sticks.

We’re Not Another Consulting Firm. We’re a Community Strategy Lab.

We work with schools, superintendents, MWBE vendors, and community leaders who are tired of surface-level solutions. Our approach is rooted in:

Real Relationships

We don’t helicopter in with a slide deck. We pull up, roll up our sleeves, and co-create solutions that work.

Street-Smart Strategy

We’ve walked the hallways. We’ve sat in the boardrooms. We know how to move systems from the inside out.

Legacy-Level Impact

We don’t build for the grant cycle. We build for generations.

What We Stand On

Equity Isn’t a Buzzword.

It’s the foundation of our work. We design systems that redistribute access, restore dignity, and restructure opportunity.

Leadership Means Taking the First Risk.

We model the way—especially when it’s hard. That’s how we earn trust.

Community Is the Strategy.

Parents, educators, and local vendors aren’t stakeholders—they’re co-creators.

We Plant Roots That Seed Change.

We build programs that last beyond our presence.

Transformation Must Be Measurable.

If it doesn’t move the needle, it’s not enough. We don’t do fluff—we do results.

Impact Partner

Our Work Speaks for Itself

But we’ll say this: If your school, agency, or institution is serious about showing up for Black, Brown, and immigrant communities—not just talking about it—then we’re the team to call.

We’re not consultants who whisper behind closed doors. We’re builders, strategists, and partners who show up with data, dignity, and drive.

Let’s Talk.

Ready to Move From Good Intentions to Real Outcomes?

Whether you’re a school in need of a real turnaround, a vendor looking to scale your impact, or an agency ready to work with people who actually get it—we’re here.
