Through the “You Matter” campaign, TRIAD brought unforgettable cultural experiences and real-world skills to PS 276 students, helping them build confidence and self-trust.

The Challenge
Public School 276, the Lewis-Marshall School, wanted to give students experiences that extended beyond academics.
While the classroom provided foundational education, the school recognized a gap in cultural exposure, financial literacy, and confidence-building opportunities.
The question was: how could PS 276 expand student horizons while staying connected to the school community?
The Partnership
That’s where TRIAD came in. With a vision to make students feel valued and empowered, TRIAD launched the “You Matter” campaign in partnership with PS 276.
This initiative combined cultural experiences, financial literacy education, and student-led leadership opportunities — designed to show students that their voices and futures truly matter.
The Solution
TRIAD curated a multi-layered program that enriched students’ experiences both inside and outside the classroom:
- Cultural Exposure: Students attended iconic Broadway shows including Wicked, The Lion King, Harry Potter, and Hell’s Game, expanding their cultural literacy and creative imagination.
They also experienced professional sports, from the Brooklyn Nets to baseball games — events that helped students dream bigger about their futures. - Community Partnerships: TRIAD partnered with Brookfield Properties to deliver a tailored financial literacy program, making real-world learning accessible.
- Student Empowerment: Students led panel discussions, asking finance-related questions directly to experts, building confidence through leadership and public speaking.
- Practical Skills: A financial literacy workshop introduced concepts like budgeting, saving, and planning, giving students essential tools for long-term success.
The Impact
Through the You Matter campaign, TRIAD and PS 276 created a holistic enrichment experience.
Students were not only exposed to arts, sports, and culture — they also gained confidence, self-trust, and essential financial skills that will serve them well into adulthood.
While the results are best seen in the faces and stories of the students, the program clearly bridged the gap between education and real-world readiness.
Parents, administrators, and community partners all witnessed how intentional enrichment can transform student engagement.
